A bonded three-layer softshell. The membrane is the reason most methods drop out here, and the studio will show you which ones and why.

Printing is charged on top of the garment and depends on the method, how many positions you print, and how many colours are in the artwork. The studio quotes the two together, calculated on our server. How the bands work.

Garment care
Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener.
Care once printed
Wash inside out, cold, on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly on the printed area, and do not use bleach or fabric softener on it. Wash printed garments separately for the first two cycles.

Colour names describe the garment as dyed. Screen rendering of a colour name is not a colour match, and printed ink on that garment is a separate approximation again. How we handle colour
What limits this body
- Bonded membrane. Only embroidery and low-temperature transfers are available on this body.
- Screen printing and sublimation would delaminate the membrane, so both are blocked in the studio.
- Embroidery on softshell is backed to stop the needle perforating the membrane in a line.

Dashed edge is the printable boundary. The inner line is the safety margin, and artwork that crosses it risks landing on a seam or a hem. Placement tolerance on press is plus or minus 3 mm.

Method limits apply on top of these. Embroidery, for example, works to a 4 by 4 inch field regardless of how large the garment position is. The studio applies whichever limit is smaller and tells you which one it used.

Applied at a reduced temperature and dwell to protect the membrane. Adhesion is good but marginally below the result on cotton.

Backed so that the needle does not perforate the membrane in a continuous line. Water resistance at the stitched area is reduced.

Low-temperature film only, applied with reduced dwell to protect the membrane.
Not available on this fabric
- M1Screen PrintBlocked
Screen ink cures at around 160°C. The bonded membrane inside a softshell delaminates well below that, which ruins the jacket.
- M2DTG Direct-to-GarmentBlocked
The pigment will not bond to a bonded polyester shell, and the pretreatment fluid stains the water-repellent face.
- M6SublimationBlocked
Sublimation runs at around 200°C. The bonded membrane inside a softshell separates well below that temperature.
Measurements
Polos, woven and outerwear. All figures are measured flat and doubled where relevant. Tolerance is plus or minus 1 cm. A garment measuring inside that tolerance matches its label.
