Beanie Cuffed
A ribbed acrylic beanie with a folded cuff. Stitch or label only, and the cuff field is small enough that a wordmark is usually the right call.

Garment care
Hand wash cold. Do not tumble dry. Reshape and dry flat. Do not iron.
Care once printed
Wash inside out, cold, on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Do not iron directly on the printed area, and do not use bleach or fabric softener on it. Wash printed garments separately for the first two cycles.

Colour names describe the garment as dyed. Screen rendering of a colour name is not a colour match, and printed ink on that garment is a separate approximation again. How we handle colour
What limits this body
- Embroidery or a woven label only. Acrylic softens below the temperature every transfer method needs, so all heat processes are blocked.
- Cuff field is 3.5 in by 1.75 in. Artwork must be a simple mark or a short wordmark.
- Rib knit stretches. Fine detail distorts when the beanie is worn.

Dashed edge is the printable boundary. The inner line is the safety margin, and artwork that crosses it risks landing on a seam or a hem. Placement tolerance on press is plus or minus 3 mm.

Method limits apply on top of these. Embroidery, for example, works to a 4 by 4 inch field regardless of how large the garment position is. The studio applies whichever limit is smaller and tells you which one it used.
Methods that run on acrylic rib knit

Stitched on the cuff only, with backing. Rib knit stretches when worn, so the design distorts slightly on the head.
Not available on this fabric
- M1Screen PrintBlocked
Ribbed acrylic stretches under the squeegee and springs back afterwards. The image distorts, and the flash cure runs hotter than acrylic tolerates.
- M2DTG Direct-to-GarmentBlocked
Acrylic is a synthetic with no cotton fibre. The pigment has nothing to bond to.
- M3DTF Transfer FilmBlocked
Transfer film bonds at around 150°C. Acrylic fibre softens and glazes below that temperature, so the beanie would be damaged before the film stuck.
- M5Heat Transfer VinylBlocked
The press temperature required to bond vinyl will glaze and flatten acrylic rib.
- M6SublimationBlocked
Acrylic is not polyester and would melt at the 200°C the process requires.
Measurements
Adult tees and tanks. All figures are measured flat and doubled where relevant. Tolerance is plus or minus 1 cm. A garment measuring inside that tolerance matches its label.
